Jose Cazares, PTA
PHYSICAL THERAPIST ASSISTANT
My passion for physical therapy stems from a personal journey I experienced as a child and adolescent. I struggled with things like weight gain, foundational strength, and confidence in my own body. While I could have chosen many career paths, I found the greatest reward in helping others through rehabilitation and guiding them toward progress.
Before physical therapy, I developed a strong passion for weightlifting and building both physical and mental strength. I earned my degree in Physical Therapy Science and became a PTA, beginning my career in orthopedic rehabilitation, where I refined my skills in musculoskeletal and neurological rehab. I later specialized in cardiac rehabilitation, helping patients recover after heart attacks and regain function, confidence, and quality of life. Seeing patients progress from point A to point B—whether returning to daily activities or sports—has been one of the most rewarding parts of my career.
Today, I combine my background in orthopedic, sports, and cardiac rehabilitation to create personalized treatment programs that help patients recover, grow stronger, and move forward with confidence.
Outside of physical therapy, I have a deep passion for music and personal growth. I played violin for many years, performing in orchestras and concerts alongside teachers and musicians from around the world. I also enjoy weightlifting, spending time with family and friends, and continuing to grow both personally and professionally each day.
